Wotton House Wedding ~ Viktoria & Marijus

Surrey wedding photography, Wotton House.

Well do I have a treat for you…. grab yourself a cuppa and start scrolling, you wont be disappointed!

The wedding this weekend of Viktoria & Marijus had just about everything : romance, emotion, tears, sunshine, Jimmy Choo shoes & even a vintage bus.

What made this wedding yet more exciting, was the fact that we had two countries & cultures coming together, Hungry & Lithuania & a few cultural traditions along the way.

All this at the very beautiful setting of Wotton House Hotel.

…getting ready.
our very beautiful bride, Viktoria
…oh and did I mention the shoes?
…ever wondered just how much fun there is going on in the bride’s room getting ready?
…I love this shot, it really shows the chaotic fun!
…the groom’s sister helps with the bride’s jewellery.
A bit of a Romeo & Juliette moment as our beautiful bride watches out of the window as her handsome groom arrives ( on a vintage bus)
…the emotional walk down the magnificent staircase to meet her father & then proceed into the marriage room.
…and what a beautiful marriage room it is, the vaulted library.
…what love & emotion there was at this wedding
a traditional breaking of bread with salt and water, a Lithuanian wedding custom
…the girls
this wedding quite simply had us jumping for joy!
then a little quite time for the bride & groom during their portraits.
…another tradition is to carry the bride across a bridge – you are then suppost to burn the bridge behind you, signifying the couple’s new life together… however Wotton were non to keen on this idea!
…emotional speeches too
and an exquisite wedding cake
…dancing ( & singing)
then more traditional games… the bride was blinfolded and had to find her husband by touching the faces …and she got it right!
…then the groom was blindfolded & made to feel his way around ladies legs in search of his bride… as you can see a couple of the the guys decided to have a bit of fun!
then a couple more games, this one is sweeping up confetti and the winner gets to choose who does the houswork for the rest of their marriage…. there was alot of cheating going on in this one!
…congratulations to this absolutely delightful couple, wishing them a happy ever-after marriage.
