Danielle & Jack, A wedding in Lancashire

Saturday was the wedding of  a wonderful couple, Danielle & Jack. The bride, a newly qualified  chartered accoutant had been counting down the days… and rain was never going to stop play, as the groom is  a former professional Rugby player. With both families also being farmers ( and Doctors) I think you will agree we were set for a day of wonderment, and thats what we had!  I have to say I am a little biased, as the brides Mum is a childhood friend of mine and I loved everything about the wedding. Guys pat yourselves on the back, it was fantastic.

A   moment  to make a cuppa before the days excitement really starts…… With seven bridesmaids all wanting the mirror in the bathroom, what do you think the odds were of the brides Dad getting a look ????? Then there were the dresses to fasten……. All set  for leaving the farmhouse to go to church in the rain…. quite a good look I hope you will agree! Danielle with her proud  parents, Janet & Steve She looks so beautiful. At the Church, Jack waits with his best man. Brollies ready…. nothing can stop the joy and excitment of the day…. Sealed with a kiss in the bride’s family church. Groups in Church, as the weather was not good enough to venture out in. The happy couple! Oh, and more rain…… Attention to detail on the church gate. A beautiful moment with the couple on arrival at the reception. Yes, they sure do love each other, bless them. Ok, so we don’t want to get the shoes wet, but  we do want to get some portaits on the lawn, I know, how difficult would it be for a Rugby player to carry his bride….? See, its easy……. Not missing out, the bridal party join us on the lawn, inspite of a little rain – and ‘strike a pose’ Dad’s speech  was commendable, both  witty and emotional, well done Steve! And the cutting of the cake, many layers, many flavours. Before we got into the evening’s dancing, we took a few portraits in the main part of the hotel, nice to get a few romantic shots. Now married, this beautiful couple will love and care for each other.You can see it in their eyes. Later in the evening we had a few celebraties call in…….lol! And danced the night away… happy wedding day!
