Christ’s Hospital School, Speech Day and my own son Fabio

Meet Fabio, my  youngest son and a pupil at Christ’s Hospital School. Friday last was a special day in the CH school  calendar, Speech Day, in the presence of The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of the City of London. As a Grecian  and a musician at the school Fabio was involved in the day and we as his  parents had the privilege of joining the school too on this occasion.  I took the chance to do some portaits of him in the school’s  rather unique uniform  – I hope you like them!

….followed then by the Christ’s Hospital pupils.
Grecians West, including my son Fabio marching in also.
….Eyes right……..
A couple more portaits of Fabio…. well he knows the drill,  being my son….
the uniform details are special also, these are the silver  buckles
… and the bands, silver buttons and velvet cuffs that denote he is a monitor ( prefect)  in the school.
During the Speech day in ‘Big school’ Fabio  played violin along with other orchestra members for the Lord Mayor from  high up in the Gallery.

Music and formalities over……
A candid moment with his father and my wonderful husband Mario!
….and back to work…   ‘A’ levels coming up soon…..

Fin & Evie

Over the weekend  I got to take some great family portraits for the  Butler family. I photographed Findlay when he was small and it was really nice to see how grown up he had got!  He was very proud of his little sister Evie too – and we took pictures of them both in the studio and in the garden studio.

What fun…… and what imagination….. from flying planes……
……… to driving trains……….
Our children are special and wonderful – and I feel honoured to be able  capture portraits for the families that come to me – and in this case – come back to me  – thank you  guys – its a real pleasure!

Hollie & Neil – pre wedding portraits in the Bluebell woods

Hollie & Neil  will marry next month in the beautiful setting of Wotton House Hotel. Its getting really close now and they are so excited!  We went out to capture some portraits for them this weekend in the bluebell woods, at last we had some sunshine to arrange this – and what a spectacular sight the bluebells are too right now.  It never ceases to amaze me just what a wonderful country we have here in England  for stunning  settings – something so beautiful and classic as bluebells – so wonderfully matched by this great loving couple.

Sarah-Jane & Ben – pre wedding portraits by the sea – Eastbourne

This weekend we met up in the spring sunshine at Eastbourne with Sarah-Jane & Ben to talk about their wedding coming up in the autumn, and take a few portaits. Ben has this wonderful thing about talking to all  the folks around and we chatted to a wonderful elderly couple, who it turns out were married on the same day as these two have chosen for their  own wedding  this September – they will though  be celebrating 60 years of marriage then!  I want to personally  give them my congratulations and wish such a happy and long marriage to Sarah-Jane & Ben too.
